BEASTIES
In a world where justice is corrupt and the government is worse, Scout and his eccentric crew of crimefighters are taking the law into their own hands. Beasties (known as BESTIES on the street), an original animated series created by Jonathan Hardesty (currently in pre-production) blends action, comedy, and interdimensional chaos into a quirky high-energy adventure.
Set in an alternate Roaring ’20s, a criminal-run government has banned dimensional espresso, cutting off interdimensional travel—and trapping Scout’s father in another world. Now a private detective for hire, Scout fights for those who can’t fight for themselves, alongside a lounge singer with a devastating right hook, an alien quail assassin, a disgraced tennis star with a vendetta, an all-powerful celestial fart, and a trigger-happy alien kid in a mech suit. With gangsters, underground espresso speakeasies, and interdimensional mysteries brewing, these heroes refuse to back down.
Justice might be outlawed, but it’s still being served hot… one espresso at a time.
Scout
A hardboiled private detective and bare-knuckle pugilist, Scout leads the Besties in a corrupt, coffee-banned world where justice is for sale. Haunted by his father’s disappearance across dimensions, he takes on the cases the police are too corrupt to touch, guided by quiet resolve and an unshakable moral compass.

Mr. Peepers
An alien quail and former interdimensional assassin, Mr. Peepers comes from a world torn apart by a pointless Righties-vs-Lefties war. With prehensile eyes and surgical precision, he now uses his lethal skills to protect rather than control, quietly guarding the team from the shadows. (side note…Mr. Peepers is a rightie…don’t get it wrong)

Donk
An alien child from the most violent planet ever recorded, Donk was abandoned by her parents for one unforgivable flaw: she was unbelievably happy. Piloting a tiny mech suit and firing anything she can find from her glowing “war hole” cannon, she’s centuries old, emotionally four years old, and the most joyful weapon of mass destruction alive.

Vincent Van Go-Time
Once a legendary tennis champion exiled for challenging a bad call, Vincent Van Go-Time turned his righteous fury into a weapon against injustice. Armed with a reinforced racket and match-point intensity, he smashes through criminals with unyielding obsession and athletic brutality.

Tootie (The Paper Doll)
A two-dimensional lounge singer stranded in a three-dimensional world, Tootie disarms with an angelic voice and devastates villains with a single move she calls “The Paper Cut.” Warm, perceptive, and unexpectedly deadly, she’s the emotional core of the team.

Bob the Celestial Fart
Born from the universe’s “Big Bang”, which was really just the universe farting, Bob is an infinitely powerful being of cosmic indifference who has witnessed everything and cares about almost nothing. Rarely speaking and never rushed, he bends reality when bored enough—and mostly watches chaos unfold with ancient detachment.
